Today, President Obama announced his plan to legalize the 12 million undocumented aliens currently living in the US.
His plan is simple; give them American citizenship.
Republicans are outraged, citing the fact that Americans are suffering from high unemployment, while at the same time the government is planning to reward 12 million aliens for entering the US illegally and stealing those jobs.
Democrats argue that the 12 million illegal aliens are doing the jobs that Americans won't do.
In spite of what Republicans or Democrats argue, the Amercan people are opposed to giving "illegals" carte blanche amnesty in the form of US citizenship.
What is the solution? Captain Econ has the Answer:
1) Close the borders.
2) Solicite the entry of 12 million law abiding aliens from Central and South America. (Law abiding means - foreigners who want to come to America but will only do so legally.)
3) Round up illegal aliens and export them in exchange for the entry of a documented immigrant, on a one-for-one basis.
Result:
a) US borders are restored to their intended legal purpose.
b) 12 million illegal aliens are held accountable for breaking the law and are exported for doing so.
c) 12 million legal aliens are allowed to enter the US in accordance with existing laws and quotas honoring all Central American and South American countries fairly.
d) America retains its neccessary labor base for "jobs Americans won't do" (if that is true).
e) The 12 million incoming immigrants will pay their fare share of taxes and earn their fair share of social benefits.
f) There will be a mass exodus of current illegal aliens who hope to return as law abiding immigrants. (We won't have to round them up, they'll leave illegally!)
g) The political objectives of both conservatives and liberals are met and the principles of national unity are restored.
